Do not fall prey to a lady that approaches you yelling hysterically around 180th street NE 14TH Avenue "Help Help please help me...somebody please help me my child is dying!" She will tell you that her child is having an asthma attack (or any other emergency...changes the story with every person) and has to rush to the pharmacy to get her medicine but her car is broken. She will take you to an specific location that is not a hospital, walgreens, or even a small pharmacy close by saying that there is ONLY ONE place where they sell the medicine really cheap and is located in the bad parts of miami, where drug dealers hang in every corner and hide from cops if you look suspicious. Sometimes she is accompanied by a man and they both speak spanish and english. If they feel you are not a threat (cop or otherwise) they might start asking questions about yourself and legal status. If you have no legal papers they will tell you that for a certain amount of money (from $20 up to $1000 depending on what you need GREENCARD, WORK PERMIT, FAKE ID, OR SOCIAL SECURITY) they can get it for you. I almost fell for this but a I know for a fact that some people actually paid them expecting it to be true and lost all their money. DO NOT FALL PREY FOR THIS THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Beware of the area around 180th street NE 14TH avenue, north miami beach.
